Building a business is exciting, challenging and sometimes lonely. There are always competing priorities, difficult decisions and moments when you could really use an experienced, independent, been-there perspective.
I'm Sorcha Lorimer. I bootstrapped a consulting and SaaS business in Scotland, built a trusted brand, won enterprise customers, expanded internationally and ultimately sold to a US private equity-backed multinational.
I'm also a qualified coach and experienced founder mentor with Barclays, Techstars and Techscaler, with particular expertise in data, privacy, product and complex, regulated markets such as healthcare and financial services.
And I absolutely love working with founders. There's something hugely rewarding about helping someone see new possibilities, tackle a difficult challenge or make a breakthrough in their business.
Today, I work with a small number of founders who want more than an occasional sounding board. I bring commercial experience, coaching skills, energy and honest challenge to the relationship. We'll work through the difficult stuff, build a practical plan and make sure things actually happen.
